Chicken Taco

Social Chicken Tacos

Juicy chicken taco with the flavors of sunny California. Try it with the delicious salsas and spices from Broken Taco.

Ingredients for 4 servings of chicken taco:
14 ounces shredded chicken
1 packet Broken Taco SoCal Spice Mix
Half a cup of milk (use whole milk for richer flavor)
8 Broken Taco tortilla S

Topping
1 avocado
Broken Taco Mango Habanero Salsa
Broken Taco Lime Pickled Onions
Fresh cilantro

Coleslaw
4 tbsp mayonnaise
2 tbsp Broken Taco Mexican Green Sriracha
7 ounces of red and/or white cabbage (or pre-cut coleslaw mix)

Here’s how to make it:

Sear the chicken strips well in oil. Reduce the heat. Pour over Broken Taco SoCal Spice Mix and milk. Stir and let it simmer for 5 minutes.

Make the coleslaw. Slice the cabbage into thin strips. Mix the cabbage with mayonnaise and Broken Taco Green Sriracha. Season with salt and pepper. Slice the avocado into thin slices.

Warm the small tortillas in the microwave or wrap them in aluminum foil and heat them at 300°F for 3-5 minutes in the oven.

Place a couple of avocado slices on each tortilla. Top with chicken meat, Broken Taco Mango Habanero Salsa, coleslaw, Broken Taco Lime Pickled Onions, and cilantro.

Tip: SoCal Spice Mix is also delicious with fish tacos!
