Fish Taco
California Fish Tacos
Crispy and succulent fish with delightful taco seasoning and coleslaw. With this recipe, you’ll elevate your fish tacos to new heights!
Ingredients for 4 servings of fish tacos:
14 ounces firm, white fish
Broken Taco SoCal Spice Mix
4 tbsp panko or dry breadcrumbs
8 Broken Taco tortillas
Coleslaw
4 tbsp mayonnaise
2 tbsp Broken Taco Mexican Green Sriracha
7 ounces red and/or white cabbage (or pre-cut coleslaw mix)
Topping
Broken Taco Sweet’n Hot Banana Peppers
Broken Taco Mango Habanero Salsa or Broken Taco Salsa Verde
Fresh cilantro
Here’s how to make it:
Mix Broken Taco SoCal Spice Mix with panko. Cut the fish into 2 cm thick strips. Coat the fish slices well with the spice mixture. Place the fish on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake at 390°F for 10 minutes.
Make the coleslaw. Slice the cabbage into thin strips. Mix the cabbage with mayonnaise and Broken Taco Green Sriracha. Season with salt and pepper.
Warm the small tortillas in the microwave or wrap them in aluminum foil and heat them at 300°F for 3-5 minutes in the oven.
Place a bit of coleslaw on each tortilla. Top with fish, Broken Taco Sweet’n Hot Banana Peppers, salsa, and cilantro.
